experience with using smart phones if you plan to rent one from us.
All of our smart phones have all the bells and whistles you need (and
some you don't). These are 2 of the top smartphones on the market today.
All rentals come with...
- 1) The smartphone model of your choice (see 3 models below) -
subject to availability.
- 2) Autonomous internet INCLUDED in the per week cost.
Autonomous internet means that the SIM card in the phone provides
the internet access and YOU DO NOT NEED TO RELY ON WiFi NETWORKS.
You will have internet wherever you go for web browsing, e-mailing,
GPS (maps) and using the built-in apps. and widgets to check the
weather, stocks, news, etc... Included is the first 1GB data
transfer at 3G speeds (HSDPA 7.2 Mbps) and then unlimited data
transfer at 128/64Kbps) for the remainder of your rental period.
- 3) A wall charger.
- 4) One set of earphones.
- 5) A mini USB cable (in case you have your laptop with you
and wish to download your photos/videos).
- 6) A micro SD memory card in the phone (4GB in case of the
Nexus One and 8GB in case of the Xperia).
- 7) Photo/Video service: if you desire, when we get the phone
back we will download all of the photos and videos that you have
taken during your trip and e-mail them to the e-mail address of your
choice or record them to DVD and send them to the mailing address of
your choice. NOTE: please do not return the phone before deleting
any and all photos and/or videos that you may not want us to see.
